Bellway's Hibernia Village was the first development to begin in the Walker Riverside regeneration programme in 2005. The redevelopment of the estate is divided into four phases. The first phase (1a) of 29 homes was completed in January 2007, with the next phase (1b) completed in March 2008. Phase 2 has started on site and will see a further 46 new homes built. The first batch on Phase 2 are expected to be completed and handed over to residents in Summer 2010, with the remainder completed by 2011.
