Getting Involved
There are many things that you can do to get involved within the Walker Riverside community. The community groups offer you the chance to meet new friends and help make a difference in the local area, while the young people focused activities and clubs offer the opportunity to have fun and also make new friends.
There are currently a number of residents groups within Walker Riverside who are actively involved in the regeneration of the area. There are also many more voluntary and community groups active in the area who are, or will be, engaged in the regeneration process as work continues. It is important to the success of the project that everyone who wants a say in the regeneration process is given the opportunity to have their views heard. Dates and venues of forthcoming consultation events will be listed in the events calendar. Whoever you are and wherever you currently live- please feel welcome to come along to any events and have your say to help regenerate and shape the area.
